Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team. This position involves the delivery of residential home heating oil to homeowners and diesel fuel to various industrial and commercial accounts. The ideal candidate will have fuel delivery experience, a strong safety record, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a fuel delivery truck to deliver heating oil and diesel to customer locations.

  • Load, transport, and offload fuel in compliance with all DOT, state, and federal regulations.

  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

  • Accurately measure and record fuel deliveries using electronic and manual systems.

  • Handle delivery documentation, including tickets, invoices, and route logs on a work pad device.  NO PAPER!

  • Maintain a clean, organized truck and report maintenance needs promptly.

  • Provide professional, courteous customer service during each delivery.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and spill prevention procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class B (or A) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (required).

  • Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.

  • Previous fuel delivery or related trucking experience preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Physically capable of handling hoses and climbing truck ladders.

  • Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and emergency deliveries during peak heating season.

Compensation: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
