Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and professional Truck Driver to join our team! In this role, you will transport scrap metals from one location to another or back to our yard. You will plan the most efficient route, ensure adherence to delivery schedules, and perform routine vehicle pre-trip inspections and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate has experience driving trucks and makes safety a number one priority!
Responsibilities
- Pick up scrap metal in one location and transport to another location.
- Perform routine pre-trip safety inspections and preventative maintenance
- Plan the safest and most efficient routes of travel
- Adhere to delivery schedules
- Comply with all company policies and driving laws
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS TRUCK DRIVING EXPEIRENCE
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Familiarity with GPS systems, CB radios, and work pad technology
- Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening
- Must have experience in ALL types of trailers like lowboy, drop deck, dump trailers, flatbeds, van trailers, etc.
Compensation: $25.00 per hour

Scrap metal recycling company located in Stockertown, PA. ♻️ We purchase ALL grades of scrap metals to be reprocessed in our yard and then resold / repurposed to steel mills/foundries all around the globe. We also own and operate our own fleet of trucks, trailers and roll-off dumpster trucks to help your business/job site move your scrap metal safely back to our yard for processing.
